Skoda Lauretta is India offering new car model by Auto major Volkswagen's Czech based subsidiary Skoda Auto. The company has already made announcement that it will the all new Skoda Lauretta in Indian auto market on 7th September this year in competitive price range which will be a surprise to the Indian auto enthusiasts. After successfully launching of two new variants for popular premium hatchback Skoda Fabia, the company is now ready to launch this compact entry level sedan in India.

The new Skoda Lauretta is based on popular entry level luxury sedan cars like Skoda Laura and Volkswagen Jetta. So far, Skoda Auto India has not announced Skoda Lauretta price for the Indian domestic market but its base model would be available at Rs. 7.50 lakh while top end model may go for Rs. 9 lakh ex-showroom. The all new Skoda Lauretta is expected major competitor of Volkswagen Vento, Maruti SX4, Honda City, Ford Fiesta, Mahindra Verio and so forth due to its highly sophisticated features and specs.

The new beast is mated by a 5 speed manual transmission. As per expectations Skoda Lauretta mileage is 15.4 Kmpl for petrol model while diesel would deliver max mileage of 20.5 kmpl. Skoda Auto India hopes that due to most advanced features, specs and impressive mileage the new entry level sedan Skoda Lauretta would achieve buzz response to the customers on this mass festive season of Diwali.
